Support VirtualSC’s mission to provide South Carolina students with flexible, rigorous supplemental online learning opportunities that promote college, career, and military readiness
Deliver personalized, differentiated instruction aligned to the National Standards for Quality in Online Teaching while modeling professionalism, digital citizenship, and a strong commitment to equitable access for all learners
Foster meaningful engagement and build supportive online learning communities where students feel connected, valued, and motivated to succeed
Emphasize adapting instruction to meet students’ academic, social, and emotional needs, curating and creating engaging instructional materials and resources, and contributing to program initiatives through collaboration and other assigned responsibilities
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree with certification as a professional teacher in the subject area to be taught by the South Carolina Department of Education
Certification in Business & Computer Science
Endorsement in online teaching
Preferred
A master's degree in the subject area to be taught
Experience teaching VirtualSC courses
Certification in other content areas
