Responsibilities
Provides competent medical care to patients within the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant scope of practice
Exercises autonomy in medical decision making and provides a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services
Functions as an interdisciplinary team member in the delivery of high quality and cost-effective care
Works collaboratively with physicians, other mid-level providers, and nursing/support staff in the Internal Medicine department
Qualification
Required
Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program
Current WI RN and APRN license and certification as an FNP
Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the WI State Board of Medical Practice
Preferred
2-3 letters of reference for external and internal candidates
3 letters of reference from preceptors for new graduates
3 most recent performance evaluations for Mayo Clinic employees
