Procurement Specialist
Corvaglia Closures USA is seeking a Procurement Specialist responsible for sourcing, negotiation, and management of raw materials, particularly resins, for their U.S. and Mexico operations. The role involves supplier management, operational purchasing, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure cost-optimized purchasing and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for materials, services, and equipment supporting U.S. and Mexico locations
Lead and execute supplier negotiations, including pricing, contracts, payment terms, lead times, and service levels
Negotiate on behalf of both locations while balancing cost, quality, risk, and supply continuity
Develop and maintain preferred supplier agreements and long-term sourcing strategies
Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance, quality, and delivery expectations are met
Draft, review, and administer contracts, purchase agreements, and amendments in coordination with Legal and Finance
Monitor supplier compliance with contractual, regulatory, and company requirements
Support supplier audits and corrective actions when required
Coordinate cross-border purchasing, including import/export requirements, Incoterms, and logistics considerations
Resolve discrepancies related to pricing, quantities, delivery, or invoicing
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to align procurement with production and business needs
Support new product introductions, supplier qualifications, and change management initiatives
Communicate clearly across departments and geographic locations to ensure alignment and transparency
Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Analyze spend data and supplier performance metrics to support decision-making
Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to procurement
Internal further training of subordinate employees
Achievement of quality and quantity objectives
Compliance with work processes and documentation as well as adherence to statutory and internal regulations for production sites
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
3–5+ years of procurement or sourcing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Proven experience negotiating supplier agreements and contracts
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills
Working knowledge of international purchasing, Incoterms, customs, and logistics
Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
Ability to analyze data and make cost-driven, strategic decisions
Ability to manage multiple priorities across locations and time zones
Bilingual in English and Spanish
