Responsibilities
Understanding activity and programming principles and practices
Applying customer service principles in daily interactions with inmates, partners, and the public
Utilizing basic marketing principles to promote programs and services
Applying basic instructional principles when leading classes or workshops
Delivering public presentations and community outreach sessions
Planning and organizing activities and events
Evaluating program operations
Operating computers and related software applications efficiently
Communicating and interacting effectively with coworkers, supervisors, community partners, and the public to exchange information and receive directions
Delivering instructions and guidance to coworkers, supervisor, the general public, and/or others
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Two years of administrative or customer service experience, including coordinating meetings, answering phones, directing inquiries and building relationships
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered
Valid driver's license
A public safety background which may include motor vehicle & criminal histories, and fingerprinting
