Director/ExecutiveEstablished Search is working with a European MedTech company that is approaching FDA approval and preparing for its first phase of commercialization in the United States. They are seeking a Chief Business Officer to define and execute the company’s early commercial and business strategy, working closely with founders and technical teams while spearheading market entry in the US.

Responsibilities
Designing the go-to-market and commercial playbook ahead of FDA approval
Structuring early revenue strategy, including pricing, partnerships, and early adopter engagement
Leading conversations with clinical, technical, and business stakeholders in the US market
Building and eventually scaling the commercial organization (sales, partnerships, revenue operations)
Helping frame the reimbursement roadmap, including exposure to reimbursement codes and payer dynamics
Acting as a key interface between US commercial activities and European R&D teams
Contributing to long-term global strategy as the company transitions from pre-approval to scale
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in Medical imaging AI, ideally in early-stage or pre-FDA environments
Strong track record in business development, commercial leadership, or revenue growth (ARR ownership)
Ability to lead and build sales or commercial teams from scratch
Technical or clinical credibility whether from an engineering, scientific, or clinical background combined with strong business acumen
First-hand understanding of the challenges of commercialising MedTech products in the US
Startup experience and comfort operating without rigid structure
Experience working across geographies and cultures
Preferred
A Master's degree or scientific/healthcare background is strongly valued
French language skills are a plus but not required
