Responsibilities

Perform installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair of computer systems and microprocessor-based controls
Installs, calibrates, performs preventive maintenance, and repairs hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, electronic, air-monitoring equipment, and air-monitoring instruments
Tests, repairs, and maintains regulatory and measurement equipment

Required

Candidate must live within, or willing to relocate within, a one-hour commuting distance of the Cary LNG facility under normal traffic conditions
0 – 2 years related plant operating and maintenance experience
Effective communication skills
Computer skills sufficient for operating, programming, and auditing databases and other applications
High school diploma/GED is required
Balancing, bending and stooping, climbing, crawling, carrying (up to 80 amount of pounds), grasping, kneeling, lifting (objects 80 pounds), pulling hand over hand, pushing, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement
Ability to understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information
Ability to understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions
Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology
Ability to organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis
Ability to make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area
Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
Ability to complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports
Ability to communicate with individuals via telephone
