Activities Director
American Senior Communities is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Activities Director to enhance the quality of life for their residents through engaging recreational programs. The role requires strong leadership skills and creativity to develop diverse activity offerings, while also collaborating with various departments to ensure a supportive environment for seniors.

Responsibilities
Plan, develop, and implement engaging recreational programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents
Monitor, mentor, lead and motivate a team of Activity Assistants to provide engaging and age-appropriate activities for the residents in our community
Create engaging, age-appropriate activities that suit different physical and cognitive abilities
Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents
Balance daily schedules, multiple residents, and activity prep
Promote collaboration among departments, professionals, consultants, and organizations including government regulatory agencies
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general education diploma (GED); and two years' experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting or satisfactory completion of an Activities Director training
