Program Coordinator

DC Department of Human Resources is focused on improving public safety and supporting crime victims through its Office of Victim Services and Justice Grants. Responsibilities

Administers the detailed plans of the program within the parameters of its timeline, deliverables, and budget
Gathers, reviews, and processes applications for the Private Security Camera Incentive Program in respect of the legislation, rulemaking, and policies to meet program objectives
Guide applicants regarding their application status and necessary adjustments to meet program requirements
Input and monitor accurate data using an application tracking system and spreadsheet editor to provide enhanced reporting, which is implemented to maintain program transparency and effectiveness, as well as identify trends that contribute to the navigating the direction of the program throughout the fiscal year
Provide in-depth program analysis to identify and resolve any discrepancies to uphold the Private Security Camera Incentive Program’s credibility, strengthen its performance in real-time, and ensure that it meets program requirements and expectations
Prepare program reports for stakeholders, including progress updates, data analysis, and key metrics to identify areas of improvement, provide program insights, and explains key metrics regarding the performance of the Private Security Camera Incentive Program
Coordinate inspections and track data regarding the legislative requirements for program participants to assist them through the Private Security Camera Incentive Program’s application process while also maintaining program credibility
Schedule and attend outreach events, as well as meetings
Implement marketing and outreach strategies to promote program awareness and recruit participants to increase public awareness of the program, interact with the community to clarify program details, and address concerns
Build relationships with community organizations and potential partners to enhance program reach through a trusted channel, as well as to coordinate the distribution of resources and participation at outreaching events or meetings
Conduct needs assessments and gathers feedback from participants to trace program strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and improvement to recommend changes in the program’s strategy and ensure the program is sustainable for the long term

Required

Specialized Experience is required that equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position
One (1) year of specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression
