Responsibilities
Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities
Participate in jobsite walks, safety meetings, and coordination with trade partners
Support preconstruction efforts including quantity reviews, estimating support, and bid preparation
Contribute to documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
Learn and use construction technology tools (e.g., Autodesk platforms, Bluebeam, BIM/VDC tools)
Work directly with project engineers, superintendents, and project managers
Attend team meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions
Receive regular mentorship, coaching, and feedback from experienced professionals
Participate in intern events, training sessions, and leadership exposure
Complete a capstone project or presentation summarizing your experience and impact
Receive performance feedback and guidance on next-step opportunities at Okland
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an engineering program
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Clear communication and strong organizational habits
Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Must be currently legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1B Status, O -1, CPT, OT, etc.)
