Responsibilities
Developing and coaching Guides to deliver Alpha's workshops at a world-class standard
Designing Guide Playbooks that document facilitation best practices, effective learning activity design, and challenge resolution strategies
Delivering consistent, practical feedback to Guides to maximize student participation and outcomes
Personally coaching a small student cohort to demonstrate expert mentorship and motivational techniques
Develop Guides and students to ensure every learner in your cohort achieves three outcomes: enthusiasm for school, learning velocity at 2× standard pace, and mastery of life skills
Qualification
Required
Currently located in or prepared to relocate for on-site work at an Alpha Campus (Bathesda, MD; Chicago, IL; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA)
Hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a comparable field
Proven track record designing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training solutions
Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities with experience building, directing, and inspiring high-performing teams
Background working with youth aged 5-18 in educational or developmental settings
Competency in data analysis and leveraging performance metrics to inform decisions and foster continuous improvement
Legal authorization to work in the United States
