Service Sales Manager

HaslerRail AG is a globally recognized manufacturer specialized in DC switchgear, power conversion systems, and traction power solutions for the rail industry. They are seeking a Service Sales Manager who will blend sales and business development with execution coordination to develop their service business in the USA.

Responsibilities

Engage directly with end-users and clients to deliver tailored solutions and presentations while maintaining long-term relationships
Prepare estimates, quotations, and service solutions on traction power substation such as retrofits, spare-part supply, maintenance, repairs, digital solutions etc
Product Expertise:
DC switchgear, high-speed circuit breakers, and electrical panels
Rectifiers, power converters, and voltage limiting devices
Multi-function control protection relays and custom electro-mechanical solutions
Develop a strategic business plan to build a robust pipeline, identify opportunities, and achieve annual service sales goals that include sales of retrofits contracts, spare-part supply, maintenance, repairs, digital solutions etc
Model financial business cases to ensure profitability and competitiveness
Lead responses for RFPs/RFIs and stay informed on market trends
Attend exhibitions, trade associations, conferences, and client events to represent the company and educate stakeholders on Service solutions
Oversee and ensure the proper and timely execution of on-site services, retrofits, as well as the spare parts and products delivery. Collaborate with the Field Service technicians

Required

Experience with custom electro-mechanical solutions
Passion for the electrified rail industry
Technical enthusiasm
Sales and business development experience in aftersales & service environment
Ability to engage directly with end-users and clients
Experience in preparing estimates, quotations, and service solutions
Product expertise in DC switchgear, high-speed circuit breakers, electrical panels, rectifiers, power converters, voltage limiting devices, multi-function control protection relays, and custom electro-mechanical solutions
Ability to develop a strategic business plan
Experience in modeling financial business cases
Ability to lead responses for RFPs/RFIs
Knowledge of market trends
Experience attending exhibitions, trade associations, conferences, and client events
Ability to oversee and ensure proper and timely execution of on-site services
