Responsibilities
Design/build reports, create models and analyses to identify trends and improve existing business processes
Build and maintain critical dashboards, reports and presentations that enable key leaders to understand, interpret and make decisions quickly
Leverage a data first approach to identify critical business trends to deliver both insights and specific actionable recommendations to the business
Dive into both quantitative and qualitative data to understand and prioritize strategic opportunities with regional sales leadership
Utilize multiple data sources (primarily MS/T-SQL) build datasets and perform ad hoc analyses that drive actionable insights for the business
Partner across departments to identify key information gaps and plans to provide or obtain that information
Identifies, communicates, and resolves data quality and data reconciliation issues
Serve in a consultative role with client to advise on best practices where appropriate
Qualification
Required
3+ years in Business Intelligence and analytics experience
3+ years of Power BI visualization and development
5+ years SQL Server experience including query writing, dataset creation; analytical programming experience
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to analyze data, interpret information and trends in large amounts of data to develop actionable recommendations
Ability to work on multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously and quickly adapt as business evolves and objectives change
Proven proactive, self-starter with the ability to work both as an individual and within a team to resolve issues, create new approaches to analyzing data, and drive decisions and consensus within the business
Familiarity with data modeling software and Excel software
A track record of commitment to prior employers
Bachelor's degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person University or College
