Responsibilities

Collects, interprets, and analyzes various types of logistics data including availability of product, reliability of transport and delivery, and other data related to product supply chain management, sourcing, and distribution
Maintains database(s) of logistics information
Tracks product flow from origin to delivery via web-based logistics systems and other appropriate methods of monitoring inventory and shipment vehicles
Reviews logistics processes and procedures; identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to maximize delivery efficiency while minimizing costs
Uses analytic methods and tools to understand, predict, and/or control logistics operations and processes
Monitors warehouse facilities to evaluate inventory transactions such as receiving, storage, shipping, and inventory integrity
Performs other duties, as assigned

Required

Minimum High School diploma
Must possess a valid driver's license and a clear driving record
Extensive knowledge of shipping and distribution channels
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar software
Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, floor lifts, and forklifts
Must have the ability to balance customer satisfaction requirements with organizational objectives
Able to work independently and make crucial decisions
Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
Must be able to pass comprehensive background screening
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday
Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure requirements of this position can be fully met
Must function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with personnel and support agencies
Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
