Account Executive

Summation is building the future of business planning and analytics by bridging the gap between data and decision-making. As an Account Executive, you’ll own the full sales cycle, partner with founders to develop sales strategies, and drive customer success in enterprise performance management.

Responsibilities

Generate Pipeline: Identify and target potential customers through proactive outreach and by qualifying inbound leads
Close Deals: Manage the full sales cycle—from initial contact to closing—by negotiating effectively and working with stakeholder teams to finalize contracts
Define the Playbook: Develop repeatable sales processes, including messaging, collateral (such as decks and case studies), and frameworks for handling objections
Collaborate on Sales Strategy: Work with founders and product teams to refine our value propositions based on customer feedback and market insights
Manage Relationships: Build and nurture strong connections with key decision-makers and stakeholders at our customer organizations
Ensure Customer Outcomes: Partner with the Solutions team to exceed customer expectations and deliver measurable success
Share Insights: Serve as the voice of the customer, informing our product roadmap and marketing strategy

Qualification

Required

4+ years in enterprise sales, preferably with a background in data or infrastructure solutions
Demonstrated success in cold outreach and lead generation, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment
