Responsibilities
Ensure 24/7/365 stability and five-nines availability for our global Java-based fraud detection platform
Define and execute scaling strategies for Kubernetes and Ceph clusters to support 10x projected growth
Mentor and grow a specialized, high-performing team while fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement
Partner closely with Product and Engineering leaders to ensure infrastructure investments are proactive, strategic, and aligned with business needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
Deep expertise with Kubernetes, including managing stateful Java workloads
Advanced proficiency with Ceph (RBD, RGW, CephFS) at scale
Strong background in Linux kernel tuning, performance optimization, and systems-level troubleshooting
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for stakeholders and articulate the business impact of infrastructure decisions
Demonstrated experience partnering with product and engineering teams to balance infrastructure requirements with business priorities
Proven ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience working in HFT, high-volume transaction systems, or similarly demanding performance-driven environments
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
