Responsibilities
As a mechanical engineer for General Dynamics Mission Systems, Undersea Mission Solutions, you’ll be a member a cross functional team responsible for development and validation of solutions to meet the customer's needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field
2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire
U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred
Agile experience
Highly skilled in Mechanical Engineering Design
Strong proficiency with PTC Creo
Increasing knowledge of analytical tools such as Ansys
Proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings
Strong knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
Creative thinker capable of leading a team in the preparation of project design, testing, and prototype fabrication
Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success
