Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruiting for construction and skilled trade roles, including but not limited to:
Welders, Fabricators, Pipefitters, Sheet Metal Mechanics
Project Managers, Project Engineers, Estimators, Superintendents
Develop a strong working knowledge of job requirements, including:
Welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core, etc.)
Metal types (carbon steel, stainless, aluminum, alloys)
Fabrication and installation methods
Screen candidates for both technical capability and alignment with company values and standards
Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, timelines, and skill gaps
Create and post job ads, source candidates, conduct interviews, and coordinate offers
Build and maintain a pipeline of skilled trade talent for current and future needs
Proactively source candidates through job boards, referrals, trade schools, unions, networking, and industry contacts
Attend or support hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach efforts as needed
Represent the company professionally to candidates and external partners
Assist other HR team members with projects as workload allows, which may include:
Onboarding support
Employee communications
HR data tracking or reporting
Special projects related to recruiting, retention, or engagement
Qualification
Required
3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or skilled trades
Working knowledge of construction roles, tools, and terminology
Ability to understand and discuss technical skills related to welding, metals, and fabrication
Strong interpersonal and communication skills—able to build trust with candidates and hiring managers
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions
Preferred
Ability to communicate in Spanish
