Warehouse Inventory Manager

The Branch Manager is responsible for the performance of the San Antonio branch, focusing on sales leadership, operational management, and customer engagement to drive market share and ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities
Own the overall performance of the San Antonio branch and assigned territory, with a primary objective of increasing BCS market share
Develop and execute local business plans aligned with company sales, margin, and growth objectives
Serve as the primary local representative of BCS for customers, vendors, and internal teams
Drive branch sales and gross margin performance against annual goals (linked to branch incentives and bonuses)
Maintain and grow counter sales through proactive customer engagement and merchandising strategies
Manage and expand House Accounts not assigned to an Outside Sales representative
Collaborate closely with Outside Sales to support account growth, quoting, and opportunity development
Provide quotations and technical support in coordination with the Technical Solutions team
Deliver best‑in‑class customer service for walk‑in, phone, and email customers
Maintain regular customer contact and follow‑up to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities
Manage the will‑call process to ensure fast, accurate, and professional order fulfillment
Oversee branch inventory, including stocking levels, accuracy, merchandising, and showroom displays
Ensure proper order entry, processing, and documentation for all sales transactions
Maintain customer order and back-order files and proactively communicate order status
Process customer returns in accordance with company policies
Maintain clean, organized, and contractor‑friendly branch operations
Manage and support inside sales staff, as applicable, including training, coaching, and performance management
Foster a collaborative environment between inside sales, outside sales, and technical resources
Qualification
Required
Proven customer service and inside sales experience
Strong business ownership mindset with an entrepreneurial approach
Process‑oriented with attention to detail and operational discipline
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
Preferred
Technical aptitude with building automation or related control products
Experience in HVAC, controls, or building automation markets
Prior branch, territory, or operations management experience
