Responsibilities
Leads and directs shuttles, accountable based on assigned duties and tasks as directed
Serves as central control for day-to-day vehicle communications, trip routing, and handling emergency situations
Diligently monitors shuttles to include on time performance, vehicle pull-outs, and properly documents rider no-shows
Meets with the account manager on a regular basis to discuss KPI’s goals and objectives for the department, and ensure that goals are being met or exceeded
Promotes a teamwork environment and effective communication between Dispatchers, Supervisors, and Operators
Coordinate problem resolution among Operators, Supervisors, and Public
Communicate clear direction and response over radio with operators and supervisors utilizing established radio codes
Influences positive employee morale and quality customer service
Monitors operator sign-in and sign-out utilizing computer-aided dispatching and routing tools
May be required to drive in service when required
Provides superior customer service and communications skills
Documents service disruption issues utilizing the dispatch log
Ensures accurate assignment of vehicles and Operators
Ability to follow company and agency policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned or requested
Qualification
Required
You are at least 21 years old
Must have a valid DMV driver's license, for at least 3 years
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to work an assigned schedule, which may include weekends, nights, early mornings, and holidays
Ability to secure wheelchairs, bend, push and pull up to fifty pounds
Clean driving record with a minimum of three (3) years driving history
Preferred
One (1) year of related experience in a Paratransit, Fixed Route or Demand Response environment preferred
