Responsibilities
Review, develop, and oversee construction plans and client‑requested design documentation
Lead and manage project teams, ensuring compliance with all specifications and standards
Estimate project costs for labor, materials, and equipment
Monitor design and construction phases to maintain schedule and quality targets
Manage all project communication with clients, vendors, consultants, and internal teams
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local building codes
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for client meetings
Maintain strong client relationships and effectively manage expectations
Conduct site surveys as needed
Oversee project financials, including budgets, schedules, and required documentation
Review and approve team timecards; support and mentor junior staff
Serve as the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day client interaction
Direct development of architectural specifications and ensure compliance with standards
Collaborate with cost estimators and manage contracts, invoices, and administrative workflows
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture or a related field
Architectural registration/licensure preferred
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in an architectural firm
Experience with retail, restaurant, and hospitality project types
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; familiarity with SketchUp, Photoshop, or Illustrator preferred
Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning requirements, and accessibility standards
Excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate diverse teams in a fast‑paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Advanced 3D design capabilities
Experience preparing construction documents and conducting field observations
Familiarity with jurisdictional permitting processes and national architectural standards
