Responsibilities
Continuous software architecture improvement
Collaborating with Software Developers on source code reviews
Ensure software follows defined technical direction
Ensure right technical solution to solve the problem
Commitment to solving a complex problem by clearly defining logical work blocks, sets realistic objectives and vision for the team to achieve
Lead the technical development efforts for systems and subsystems
Provide direction to a group of technical people for design, analysis and development
Technical coaching and training of new delivery team members
Understands the application and the platform components
Defines an architecture that leverages the platform
Creates requirements for both platform development and application specific software
Participate in release content discussion – estimates
Qualification
Required
Requires a degree in an accredited Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science curriculum
Typically have 10+ years of experience in embedded software development
Extensive Experience with Back-end software development
Experience developing for the Linux platform with the C and C++ programming languages
Experience with multithreading and object-oriented analysis and design methodologies for embedded applications
Experience with product development in an Agile environment
