Responsibilities
Draft and prepare wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives
Assist with estate and probate administration , including file creation and court-related filings
Organize and maintain legal files using case management and document systems
Review legal documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance
Track deadlines, manage calendars, and coordinate task priorities
Conduct legal research and support case preparation
Proofread legal documents to ensure quality standards
Perform legal administrative functions such as transcription, data entry, and filing
Work closely with attorneys and staff to support efficient workflow
Qualification
Required
Experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in a law firm
Background in estate planning, probate, or trust administration
Strong drafting, proofreading, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple assignments with attention to detail
Comfortable working primarily in-office in a professional legal setting
Preferred
Familiarity with Clio and/or WealthCounsel
