Responsibilities

Specific duties will include material preparation, soldering, and the assembly and rework of electronic and mechanical assemblies
Perform wire/cable preparation, installation, and torquing using hand tools. All work is performed in accordance with written work instructions to prescribed standards
The successful assembler candidate will support Production, Sustainment and Development manufacturing activities onsite in Plano, Texas and occasionally supporting assembly activities at an ASP Integration site in Dallas, Texas

Required

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
U.S. Citizen - the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Experience with the use of common hand tools (screwdrivers, sockets, ratchets, etc.)
Experience with circuit card assembly production, rework, and repair
Hold and maintain active J-STD-001 solder certification

Preferred

Experience working in a Manufacturing, Assembly, or Aviation Environment with hands on technical experience in the repair, installation, inspection, or maintenance of mechanical / electrical assemblies
Work with production resources and teammates to meet production goals
Perform repetitive tasks in accordance with an established process
Perform in-process inspections in accordance with company standards and customer specifications
