Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies for individual giving, corporate partnerships, foundation grants, and special events to meet annual fundraising goals
Research, write, and submit compelling grant proposals and reports in collaboration with the Executive Director
Identify, cultivate, and steward donor relationships, including prospect research and personalized outreach
Manage donor database, track contributions, and ensure timely acknowledgments and recognition
Support community engagement initiatives, such as donor tours, volunteer events, and the Food Sustainability Summit
Assist with marketing and communications to highlight our impact and inspire support
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, or related fields
Proven success in securing gifts, grants, or sponsorships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft persuasive narratives and grant applications
Strong relationship-building skills with a community-oriented mindset
Proficiency in donor management software (e.g., Bloomerang, DonorPerfect) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
Self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Passion for our mission of fighting hunger and reducing food waste
Preferred
