Responsibilities

Responsible for testing, troubleshooting and programming of implanted cardiac devices
Processing remote data and reports from the manufacturer web sites (Carelink, Merlin, Latitude, Biotronik)
Providing an excellent patient experience while delivering and documenting team based safe patient care in collaboration with the physician and other care team members

Qualification

Advanced cardiac rhythm interpretationBLS certificationEMR documentationCardiac Device software (PaceArt)RCISRN licenseHealth science educationExperience in device clinicCardiac device management trainingTeam collaboration skills

Required

High School diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of two years' experience working in a device clinic or working in the field for a cardiac device manufacturer
Advanced cardiac rhythm interpretation required
BLS (American Heart Association/Basic Life Support) required
Proficiency in electronic medical record documentation required

Preferred

Graduate of a diploma, associates or baccalaureate academic program in health science (includes but not limited to cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology or nursing)
CCDS through IBHRE preferred within 3 years of hire
RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RN (Registered Nurse) preferred
Familiarity with Cardiac Device software such as PaceArt preferred
