Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Nutanix AOS/Prism/AHV clusters, ensuring availability and performance
Monitor system health, perform upgrades/patching, and troubleshoot issues proactively
Configure and manage virtual machines and storage containers across AHV/VMware environments
Perform log analysis and root cause analysis to prevent recurring incidents
Support DR failover testing, replication, and backup/restore workflows
Document configurations, SOPs, changes, and audit evidence in compliance with financial regulations
Participate in change control processes, maintenance windows, and after-hours on-call rotation
Collaborate with security teams to apply baselines, support vulnerability remediation, and maintain platform hardening

Required

3-6 years of systems administration experience, including at least 2+ years with Nutanix AOS/Prism/AHV

Experience automating tasks using PowerShell and/or Python
Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
Experience with DR planning, replication workflows, and backup platforms
Ability to operate in regulated environments with formal change control
