Responsibilities
Perform billing, accounts payable and accounts receivable duties including journal entries and reconciliations
Sort invoices, statements, and match invoices to purchase orders
Research and reconcile vendor inquiries and discrepancies
Help department meet deadlines and comply with company/facility policies
Perform special projects and tasks at the discretion of the Team Leader
Assist with general administrative duties
Report all life safety and fire hazards, along with any other violations of company policy, to Team Leader for correction and report all accidents and injuries to Team Leader or Facility Leadership immediately
Properly and accurately record time using time clock at the beginning and end of each shift and for unpaid meal breaks during shift
Qualification
Required
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in whole numbers, fractions and decimals
Excellent analytical, prioritizing, and problem solving skills
Ability to comprehend and complete financial reports
Strong computer skills, including Excel, PeopleSoft and EXE
Ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner
Manage competing demands and deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events
Follow instructions and established procedures, respond to management direction, and appropriately handle and solicit feedback to improve performance
Unwavering attention to detail and accuracy
Great organizational and time management skills
Ability to understand customers', vendors' and Team Members' needs
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with other Team Members and leadership
Proven ability to be a team player in a fast paced environment
Ability to work well with others, self-motivated and capable of working independently with little supervision
Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the Distribution Center, including nights, weekends and holidays as required
Preferred
Experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping or invoice matching
