Project Control Analyst
Reliance One, Inc. is seeking a Project Control Analyst to support forecasting, cost analysis, and project accounting activities within a fast-paced manufacturing and project-driven environment. This role partners closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, budget tracking, and compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
Forecast and analyze company costs related to projects and financial performance
Support project accounting and financial reporting tied to project management activities
Assist and support Project Control Clerk responsibilities as needed
Support daily processing of contract orders and change orders
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures (including JSOX)
Assist Project Managers with project-related documentation, reporting, and presentations
Monitor project budgets and expenses; flag discrepancies or overruns
Collaborate with Project Managers, Production, Engineering, and other departments
Perform monthly reviews and forecasting for less complex projects and short-cycle orders
Support subsidiaries with project-related items such as estimates and project order documentation
Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Analyze product pricing to support profitability initiatives
Support internal and external audits related to projects
Prepare ad-hoc reports and financial analyses
Participate in testing and implementation of special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
Complete working knowledge of SAP (preferred) or other MRP/ERP systems
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures
Knowledge of GAAP and relevant accounting regulations
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to interpret and clearly present financial data
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, or related field
or equivalent experience in a project accounting role
2+ years of experience in project accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role
Preferred
Complete working knowledge of SAP (preferred) or other MRP/ERP systems
Experience in a manufacturing and/or engineer-to-order environment preferred
Japanese bilingual skills are a plus
