Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with analysts and developers to understand user needs and translate them into effective software solutions
Design, implement, and maintain scalable software components that align with project goals and requirements
Continuously improve and optimize the existing codebase to enhance performance, reliability, and maintainability
Take ownership of assigned features and projects across the full development lifecycle
Develop full-stack functionality based on customer and mission requirements
Assist with automating development workflows, including testing and CI/CD processes, while following established development best practices
Qualification
Required
Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance With Polygraph Is Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
3 years of experience in software development
Experience with back-end development in Python using frameworks such as Django to build custom libraries and RESTful APIs
Proficiency with front-end technologies including React, Vue, or Next.js, along with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or Redis
Experience using version control systems like Git in a collaborative development environment
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and internal systems quickly
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software
Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
U.S citizenship required (green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible). Applicants selected will be required to obtain / maintain a government security clearance
