Low Carbon Fuel Policy Analyst

The California Air Resources Board is seeking a Low Carbon Fuel Policy Analyst to join their team focused on greenhouse gas reduction through the Low Carbon Fuel Standard program. Responsibilities

Applies scientific principles and research methods to analyze fundamentals of fuel supply and demand in California
Analyzes the role of transportation fuels-related policies in the context of California’s long-term climate goals
Investigate economics of various alternative fuel production technologies and emission reduction technologies, and
Conduct economic and environmental assessment of fuels-related policies
Analyzes the supply and demand fundamentals of the LCFS credit market
Supports monitoring of the LCFS credit market to deter and detect manipulation and
Produces briefings, white papers, and other documentation for use in the LCFS program
