Project Manager - Equipment Manager Focus

Responsibilities
Create project plans, work breakdown schedules, cost and resources estimates, communication plans, risk management plans and other key project deliverables/activities
Manage the assigned project team(s) and coordinate all project start-up and close-out activities, including those related to defining business requirement and system selection when necessary
Monitor progress to keep projects on track by conducting regular project meetings and following up with areas that need assistance
Ensure all project tasks and goals are being accomplished as expected without direction. Work to keep assigned projects on schedule, on budget and within available resources
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects and communicate frequently with all parties involved
Proactive in developing and implementing strategies that significantly mitigate risk
Handles broad-based, often complex, communication for internal and/or external audiences
Exemplary level communication and presentation skills that are appropriate for executive-level staff
Ensure conformance to standards and methodologies for the system development life cycle and project management
Assists with the development and implementation/use of standard project templates
Manage the approval, tracking and reporting process of project change requests
Prepare meeting agendas and presentation material that communicates project information to concerned parties
Prepare project status reports and other project specific information about weekly activities using a Project Status Report
Prepare project plans and work break down schedules using the defined Project Management tools as needed for assigned projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Business, Information Systems/Technology or other related field or equivalent experience
0-2 years of project management experience preferably in a health care IT setting
Preferred
Project Management Professional certification
