Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based applications and services using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related technologies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
Provide technical support for existing systems, including AZMVDNow.gov and other digital government tools
Ensure high availability and reliability of deployed solutions
Support legacy system modernization efforts for motor vehicle and transportation systems
Integrate applications with third-party APIs, databases, and cloud platforms
Contribute to the development of Smart City and digital identity initiatives
Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders from ADOT and the company
Document code, processes, and system architecture for internal and external use
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience
3+ years of experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core)
Experience with SQL Server, RESTful APIs, and front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Deep experience with Azure and Azure DevOps
Strong knowledge of C#, Angular, and .NET platform
Experience building large-scale web-based applications with high user volume
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
Must be aware of all Azure services available for app deployment
Clear, confident communicator
Able to speak intelligently about technology
Leadership qualities: mentoring, team accountability, and delivery ownership
Understands timelines and can hold others accountable
Preferred
Experience with government or transportation systems
Knowledge of Azure or other cloud platforms
Familiarity with digital identity and portal development
Exposure to Smart City or citizen engagement technologies
