Responsibilities

Support, comply with, and ensure Health & Safety regulations are adhered to
Support, comply with, and ensure Quality and Environmental standards and all other Company policies and procedures are adhered to
Drive improved performance and efficiency for all manufacturing-based initiatives to include safety, quality, delivery cost, morale, cost reduction, scrap reduction, communication, housekeeping, team member evaluation, training, staffing levels, associate pay, and compliance with all company policies and procedures
Support and promote our Lean Vision and ensure full participation and adherence to our Continuous Improvement Initiatives
Embraces personal challenge and demonstrates leadership regarding organizational change
Oversees Operational Excellence (Opex) and provides leadership to Opex teams
Ability to problem-solve and do root cause analysis
Takes an active role in Team Member development
Able to fill in and assist in Operation’s Managers role when required
Assumes other duties as assigned by leadership
Is self-aware, self-accountable, resilient, assertive and open to change
Engages interest and participation of others and has a collaborative approach to working together
Exhibits high levels of motivation, optimism, and is action oriented
Ability and desire to promote culture and inclusion standards

Required

BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience
Three (3) to five (5) years' experience gained through supervision in multiple settings (departments, plants, etc.) and/or through advanced college training in business management
Must be capable of working with cross-functional resources
Ability to perform the planning, directing, reporting, and administrative responsibilities of this position
Mechanical aptitude is necessary, although an understanding of technical details is not essential
Above average computer aptitude
Mathematical skills to calculate financial accounting and inventory control are required
Must be able to lift 45 lbs. unassisted with or without reasonable accommodation, occasionally to include overhead
Occasionally required to lift, carry, push, or pull objects ranging from 45 lbs. to 80 lbs
Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time (8-12 hours daily)
Must be able to move about the manufacturing floor safely and efficiently
Bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs and/or ladders may be required for specific work tasks
Ability to perform tasks that require using hands, wrists, and fingers
Ability to work in loud, fast paced industrial environment
Manual dexterity and hand to eye coordination with hand/power tools
Frequent work in tight and confined spaces
Frequent use of ladders and work in high spaces
Frequent use of computer, keyboard, tablet, and/or scanner may be required for specific work tasks
Must be able to work in hot and cold environments
