Greets and provides directions to their respective destinations
Answers informational questions regarding locations of departments, physician offices, contact people, hours of operation, visiting hours, etc
Provides appropriate screening of visitors, assists in problem-solving as indicated, and helps to ensure an excellent hospital experience in keeping with the Rush Copley Promise behaviors
Provides wayfinding to patients, family members, and other guests to the facility as to locations of patient’s room, hospital departments, physician offices, restrooms, drinking fountains, food services, chapel, etc
Provides personal escort when appropriate
Extensive standing, walking and wheelchair assistance
May consult appropriate clinical or office-based staff if patients/visitors require assistance
