Responsibilities
Knowledge and application of Endeavor policies and procedures that apply to job and area of responsibility
Pre-certification Process Design and Management
Coding Compliance and billing issues
Coordinate ABN process
Verifies new patients' insurance coverage and identifies patients requiring Charity Care
Medication assistance and reimbursement
Design and implement plans for uncompensated care reduction
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or ten years of applicable experience required
Minimum of 5 years' experience in patient care setting with expert knowledge of billing and insurance, particularly in regard to Oncology
Preferred
Demonstrated expertise in patient insurance and billing
Experience in charity care negotiations
Experience in pharmaceutical company programs
Experience in patient payment plan development
Computer knowledge to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Power Point
