Outside Sales Account Manager
Chicago Tube & Iron is seeking an Outside Sales Account Manager to oversee a sales territory in Central/Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. This role focuses on increasing sales and market share while managing customer relationships and providing market intelligence.

Responsibilities
Increase revenue in targeted accounts through the sale of tubular, bar, pipe, valve and fitting products, as well as value-added services such as production cutting, laser fabrication, bending, welding, and kitting
Ability to quote or price the customer directly
Service and manage existing customers; develop relationships with key customers
Plan and organize a daily work schedule to call on both existing customers and new sales prospects
Manage consignment, customer inventory programs, and contracts, etc
Provide territory market intelligence and serve as a key resource to both inside sales staff and management
Prepare and submit regular reports, such as territory review reports, call reports, expense reports, etc
Maintain professional and technical knowledge through the use of industry publications, personal networks, and participation in steel industry associations and events
Qualification
Required
Completion of at least 2 years of college toward a 4yr degree in a related field
Minimum two years of work experience in industrial sales
Proven skills in account management
Negotiating and closing sales
Conducting face-to-face presentations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Preferred
Experience in steel distribution sales
Stainless steel experience
