Information Technology Project Manager

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee multiple IT initiatives across internal teams and third-party vendors
Partner closely with business stakeholders and IT leadership to define scope, objectives, timelines, and success metrics
Facilitate requirements gathering through interviews, workshops, and working sessions; document functional and technical requirements clearly
Ensure requirements align with business goals and solution architecture
Prioritize initiatives and requirements to focus on high-impact business outcomes
Review and validate solution designs to confirm alignment with approved requirements
Develop use cases, test scenarios, and support integration and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Track action items, risks, dependencies, and decisions to ensure accountability and momentum
Manage project plans, schedules, and deliverables; proactively identify and mitigate risks
Prepare and deliver clear status updates to senior leadership, including milestones, risks, and dependencies
Utilize project management tools and documentation repositories to support collaboration and transparency

Required

10+ years of project management experience within financial services
Proven expertise in SDLC, business analysis, and project delivery methodologies
Experience conducting cost/benefit analysis and developing business cases
Strong understanding of IT systems, application development, databases, and security concepts
Hands-on experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional resources
Exceptional written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred

Asset management experience strongly preferred
PMP, Scrum Master, or related certifications are a plus
