Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients in the above-mentioned industries. Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer needs, ensuring that their requirements are met
New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industry, expanding the company's client base by targeting new markets and customers
Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, production, and quality control, to ensure customer specifications and deadlines are met. Act as the liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring terms are favorable to both parties while maintaining a strong focus on profitability and long-term partnerships
Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed sales targets. Track and analyze key sales metrics, reporting progress and forecasts to senior management
Industry Expertise: Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting targeted industries. Apply this knowledge to anticipate customer needs and offer innovative solutions
Customer Support: Resolve any issues or concerns raised by customers in a timely and effective manner. Ensure consistent communication and follow-up throughout the entire project lifecycle
Travel: Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support business development efforts

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, or related field
5 years of account management or sales experience in precision machining or a related industry, with a focus on aerospace, defense or medical applications
Strong understanding of machining processes, equipment, materials, and complex part manufacturing
Familiarity with industry-specific requirements such as AS9100 (aerospace), ITAR (defense), and FDA (medical devices) regulations
Ability to utilize the Microsoft suite of products including but not limited to Excel, Outlook, and Word
Ability to read prints and specifications
