Kohl's is seeking an Assistant Designer to support Design leaders in creating assortments that align with brand positioning and target customers. The role involves building tech packs, conducting market research, and assisting in meeting preparations to ensure brand understanding and innovation.

Responsibilities

Build, create and maintain tech packs, trim sheets and design packages
Ensure accurate data entry into Product Lifecycle Management
Assist in meeting preparation and breakdown, including room setup, samples, reports and creating boards and line sheets
Gather and analyze market and trend research
Ensure understanding of the supported brand, foster innovation and remain updated on the competition
Complete pre-packages as a part of the research and development process
Additional tasks may be assigned

Qualification

Adobe IllustratorPhotoshopNed GraphicsKaledoFashion DesignRetail ExperienceDesign Experience

Required

Familiarity and moderate proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Ned Graphics, Kaledo or related program

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or related field
Previous retail experience
Previous experience in design or product accessory business and the competitive landscape
Domestic travel may be required
