Manager of Financial Systems
Hire Point Recruiting is seeking a Financial Systems & Accounting Manager to act as the primary liaison between the Accounting function and the company’s system implementation teams. The role involves ensuring financial systems support accurate reporting and compliant accounting, translating requirements into system specifications, and driving process optimization.

Responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact between Accounting, IT, Systems Integrators, and external implementation consultants
Partner with Accounting to define business requirements, workflows, and reporting needs
Translate accounting and financial reporting requirements into system configurations and functional specifications
Support ERP or financial system implementation activities, including design, UAT testing, data validation, and process mapping
Lead the development of month-end close workflows within the system, ensuring accurate posting, reconciliations, and reporting
Oversee data migration activities and ensure data integrity across the new system
Assist with chart of accounts restructuring, entity hierarchy mapping, and reporting standardization
Create user documentation, training materials, SOPs, and internal controls related to system use
Train and support accounting team members during system adoption and post-go-live stabilization
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to reduce manual work and improve visibility
Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, and Audit as needed to support enterprise-wide financial reporting
Ensure systems remain compliant with US GAAP/IFRS and internal control requirements
Support enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and feature rollouts post go-live
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
5–8+ years of experience in Accounting, Financial Systems, or ERP-focused roles
Strong understanding of US GAAP/IFRS and core accounting processes (close, GL, AP/AR, consolidation, etc.)
Experience supporting or leading financial system implementations (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, OneStream, or similar)
Ability to convert business requirements into functional system needs
Solid Excel skills; experience with reporting, BI tools, or consolidation platforms a plus
Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to handle multiple workstreams
Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with both finance and technical teams
CPA, CMA, or systems certifications (NetSuite, SAP, PMP, etc.) considered a plus
