Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end SFMC solution architecture across Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Contact Builder, and integrated clouds
Design data models, integrations, and identity resolution strategies aligned with enterprise data platforms (CRM, CDP, data lakes)
Define technical standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices for campaign execution and personalization
Partner with cybersecurity, legal, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to financial services regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR, CCPA)
Architect API-based and batch integrations with Salesforce CRM, third-party platforms, and internal systems
Evaluate and recommend SFMC add-ons and third-party tools (Personalization, Intelligence, Datorama, etc.)
Provide technical leadership during implementations, upgrades, and platform enhancements
Troubleshoot complex platform issues and performance challenges
Mentor developers and technical marketers on SFMC capabilities and architecture patterns
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in marketing technology or CRM architecture
4+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience
Strong knowledge of data modeling, SQL, APIs, and automation frameworks
Experience designing solutions in highly regulated industries
Preferred
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect or Consultant certification(s) preferred
