Responsibilities
Conduct time and motion studies to develop standardized work processes and standard data
Estimate manpower requirements and support capacity planning activities
Analyze equipment uptime and downtime data using Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 7-Step, and 5 Whys methodologies
Drive improvements to increase machine uptime and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
Create, modify, and optimize plant layouts and process flows to improve efficiency
Collaborate with OEMs to resolve open issues and support PPAP approvals
Provide engineering support for material flow documentation, manufacturing standards, and procedures
Develop and maintain standard documentation, work instructions, and revision drawings
Support manufacturing process planning and standardized production procedures
Conduct detailed design reviews and support tooling approvals
Work closely with plant stakeholders to implement shop-floor process and layout improvements
Provide training and ensure integration of process assessments and best practices
Qualification
Required
Strong background in manufacturing engineering and process improvement
Hands-on experience with process engineering in an assembly or production environment
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
