Responsibilities
Build end-to-end interactive prototypes for mobile (primarily iOS), including screens, flows, transitions, and high-fidelity micro-interactions
Create high-polish, brand-driven prototypes that showcase strong craft, motion principles, and interaction depth
Develop prototypes used for vision work, storytelling, UX research, and concept validation
Contribute to future-state journeys and conceptual interaction models through visual storytelling and code-based prototyping
Partner closely with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to explore ideas and align on direction
Participate in design sprints, critiques, and co-creation workshops
Maintain fast, iterative cycles with frequent updates and refinements
Actively participate in team rituals including stand-ups, design reviews, and working sessions
Qualification
Required
Work authorization status: US Citizen or GC holder
W2 hourly only (No c2c, corp to corp)
6+ years of experience as a UX Engineer, Creative Technologist, Prototyper, or Front-End Technologist in design-focused environments
Strong portfolio required (link must be included on resume or application) demonstrating consumer-facing (B2C) work — no B2B, SaaS, dashboards, or healthcare-heavy portfolios
Mobile app prototypes with high visual polish and craft
Motion, interaction, and experiential thinking
Hands-on coding ability with samples showing functional prototypes
Experience building prototypes using JavaScript / TypeScript, React or React Native, and lightweight Node.js scripts
Proficiency with high-fidelity prototyping tools such as Figma, Framer, Principle, ProtoPie, or similar
Experience working on iOS applications
Comfortable using Git or basic version control
Proven experience collaborating cross-functionally in fast-moving teams
Preferred
Experience creating prototypes that support early-stage design thinking, vision, and storytelling
Advanced Figma capabilities (Figma API, plugin development, MCP, etc.)
Experience designing complex motion systems or advanced micro-interactions for mobile interfaces
Background working with well-known consumer brands
