Onboarding Specialist, Website

As an Onboarding Specialist, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the onboarding process and ensuring the successful implementation of their websites by coordinating with internal teams and managing project timelines.

Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the onboarding process, providing timely and clear communication regarding project status, requirements, and timelines
Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their website needs, goals, and brand identity
Collect and organize all necessary information, including content, images, branding materials, and technical specifications, to ensure a smooth transition to the development team
Proficiency in using website builders, content management systems (CMS)—particularly WordPress—and comfort in building semi-custom websites from templates. (No coding experience is required but familiarity with basic web design best practices is a plus.)
Collaborate closely with the design and development teams to relay client requirements, provide clarifications, and ensure the website aligns with the client's vision
Coordinate project schedules and milestones, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to project timelines
Perform quality assurance checks to ensure that the website meets client specifications, is error-free, and functions optimally across different devices and browsers
Provide training and support to clients on how to manage and update their website content through our content management system
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client interactions, requirements, and project progress in our internal systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
2+ years of experience in customer onboarding or customer success, preferably in a SaaS company, website development agency, or a similar technology-focused environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical clients
Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively
Proficiency in using website builders, content management systems (CMS), or similar web development tools
Technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a customer-centric mindset
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose creative solutions
Enthusiasm for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
Preferred
Familiarity with basic web design best practices
