Responsibilities
Create and modify electrical design packages, schematics, and wiring diagrams for industrial machinery
Customize existing designs to meet new machine specifications and client requirements
Design control panels, power distribution, and integrated electrical systems, ensuring cost-effective and practical solutions
Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for electrical components
Collaborate with production personnel and machinery assembly teams to integrate electrical designs into functional equipment
Ensure all designs comply with relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and company specifications
Maintain technical documentation and CAD files for designs
Qualification
Required
5–8 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in industrial machinery or related manufacturing
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent CAD software
Experience designing control panels, wiring systems, and electrical layouts for machinery
Familiarity with motors, drives, transformers, sensors, and basic industrial electrical standards
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ideal candidates can provide examples of prior electrical design work
Preferred
Knowledge of UL standards and grounding principles
