Responsibilities

Design and architect Java-based applications in an AWS environment
Lead application modernization and cloud migration efforts
Provide technical leadership, mentor developers, and oversee delivery
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align solutions
Lead code reviews and enforce development best practices
Troubleshoot complex issues and optimize performance and scalability
Create and maintain technical and architectural documentation

Required

12+ years expertise in Perl programming
12+ years experience with Java & React full-stack development
12+ years experience with MySQL / MariaDB
Proven experience architecting Java applications on AWS
Experience managing large, mission-critical systems for public-sector clients
Strong communication and reporting skills (features, upgrades, backlog)
Experience with AI-assisted development and testing
Hands-on application modernization experience (AWS or Azure)

Preferred

Construction Management domain experience
