Responsibilities
Repair, calibrate, and test electronic equipment at the component level
Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot various issues both in person and remotely
Document faults and problems with equipment and make proper orders for repairs
Repair and assemble various specialized copper cables as deemed necessary
Ensure 'in progress' repairs are identified, documented, and organized
Supports Shop team to communicate and coordinate repairs that need to go out of house
Collaborate with internal Engineers to assist with custom solutions as needed
Qualification
Required
Technical or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
Valid US Drivers License and an ability to operate company vehicles for deliveries and movement of various equipment
Requires industry-related experience as a repair/maintenance technician or engineer
Demonstrate basic knowledge of broadcast and computer technology, equipment, and facilities
Must be able a self-motivated problem solver who thinks outside the box
Strong communication and organizational skills
Aptitude for continuous growth of equipment knowledge and troubleshooting skills
Preferred
Minimum 3 -5 years of experience working with equipment in the Broadcast Industry, Sports, and Entertainment
