Responsibilities
Support day-to-day budget execution and financial management activities under the guidance of senior CAAS analysts and government financial managers
Perform routine data entry, updates, and reconciliations within the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) system (training provided)
Assist with budget tracking, funding documentation, and recurring financial reporting requirements
Maintain accurate and timely financial records in accordance with federal and organizational compliance standards
Support preparation of financial artifacts, trackers, and documentation used for internal reviews and leadership decision-making
Coordinate with senior analysts to resolve data discrepancies and ensure consistency across financial reports
Adhere to established processes, timelines, and quality standards to support mission execution
Qualification
Required
Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly required
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a relevant field (in lieu of bachelor's degree, an associate's degree with additional years of experience may be substituted)
2 years of experience supporting budget execution, financial management, accounting, or related business processes
Foundational understanding of the federal budget lifecycle and execution environment (education or experience)
Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately track, validate, and reconcile financial data
Basic proficiency with spreadsheets and financial tracking tools (e.g., Excel or similar)
Ability to follow established procedures and work effectively under supervision in a structured environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage recurring tasks and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with knowledge and ability to utilize appropriate grammatical skills at a professional level
