Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal and state corporate income tax returns
Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, including related SEC disclosures
Research and analyze changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company
Collaborate closely with the Tax Manager and external auditors to support SEC reporting requirements
Assist with IRS and state tax audits by preparing required documentation and responses
Support tax planning initiatives to enhance compliance and optimize the company’s tax position
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation using OneSource and other tax technology tools
Qualification
Required
3+ years of corporate tax experience, preferably with a publicly traded company or public accounting firm
Hands-on experience with SEC reporting, ASC 740, and corporate tax compliance
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
Proficiency with OneSource or similar corporate tax compliance software
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
