Knowmadics is seeking a Junior Controller to assist in all aspects of the accounting and finance function. The role involves cash management, budgeting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and supporting ad/hoc financial projects as needed.

Responsibilities

Cash Management

Enter cash activity on a daily or weekly basis

Complete multiple bank reconciliations on a monthly basis

Accounts Receivable

Reconciliation of A/R

Processing of client invoicing

Review and submit invoices to external third-party client platforms

Payroll

Process bi-weekly payroll for the company

Process expense report reimbursements

Complete labor related journal entries

New employee onboarding

Assist with payroll system conversion project

Accounting

Month-end close duties including:

Cash, A/R, labor related account reconciliation

Credit card account reconciliation

Provide month-end reconciliation reporting to Controller and CFO on various balance sheet accounts

Provide project-related support and services as needed

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field

4+ years of finance and accounting experience

Thorough knowledge of US GAAP

Superb mathematical skills

Proficient or better in Microsoft Excel

Ability to adapt and learn, create, and implement new processes and systems

Excellent problem-solving capabilities

Superior verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently in remote environment with little direct supervision

Eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance – U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred

Experience in US government contracting preferred

Experience using an ERP system such as Unanet or Costpoint preferred
